Looking at our 1960's ranch with no front door, a leaking garage and a plain poor design, we knew we needed a builder with experience in extensive remodels. From the onset with the architech, realizing nothing was square and all the roof pitches and heights were different, we knew it was not going to be a quick, easy fix. The job also included the complete removal of the entire roof. But, the lot with the lake, rolling landscape, large front yard and set back off the road made it worthwhile. After meeting with a dozen builders, Dennis Rotman seemed very professional and conscientious. Expecially about the unspecific costs in a remodel where there are a lot of unknowns. We went from a poorly designed 2600 square foot ranch to a very unique design with a lot of windows and a functional two story with over 5000 square feet. The project was projected to take seven months and actually took eleven months, but we added things and the weather did not cooperate. Dennis Rotman Builders were very accommodating, and we are very pleased with our newly remodeled home. Every room in the house was touched. The floor plan is open and the flow is much improved. We now have a master suite with a stainless steel counter, tile bath and attached nursery/den, a natural cherry kitchen with stainless steel appliances and Corian countertops, crown molding, large entry with stove tile, all new wide base boards, 20 foot long eyebrow wind, barel living room ceiling vaulted to the second floor, large groups of windows, three panel solid doors, large laundry room and four stall garage. Remodeling is a difficult process, but if we had to do it again, we would trust it to Dennis Rotman Builders. Dennis has proven himself to be a very accomplished builder who is always honest, upfront and trustworthy.
